GE Range Error Code F0: Meaning and Fix

Reading the range display
On a range or oven the fault appears on the clock or oven display, often with a beep. Press Cancel or Clear once to silence it, and write the code down first. GE writes letters and numbers together with no space, so E22 is one code, not E2 and 2.
GE Appliances, now owned by Haier, mixes legacy GE boards with newer connected platforms. Washers and dryers tend to use E or D codes, ranges and microwaves use F codes, and refrigerators show Er codes. The codes apply to model numbers such as GDF630PSMSS, GDT665SSNSS and GTD65EBSJ0WS; check the label on your unit to confirm yours.
What causes F0

How to fix it
- Press and hold Clear/Off, then cut power for a few minutes.
- Check for a key that looks lifted or damaged.
- If it will not clear, replace the touch pad, the oven control or both.

Questions
What does the F0 code mean on a GE range?
Usually means a key on the touch pad is stuck, or the oven control is faulty.
Can I fix the F0 code myself?
Start with the free checks (power reset, connectors, obvious blockages). The likely repair involves the oven control board and live-circuit testing, so if the code returns, a qualified technician is the safer call.
How do I clear the F0 code?
Press Clear/Off, then cut power to the oven at the breaker for five minutes before restoring it. If F0 comes back, the underlying fault is still there; start with this: pressed or shorted touch pad.
